Hydrar-- It was nearly 200 Earth years ago that Hydrar’s great, great, grandfather came up with the idea of having a

Hydrar

Like a boss....

police force to protect the galaxy. He found others who agreed with him, and together, the group founded the Galactic Squadron that we know today. With that in mind, it was always Hydrar’s dream to follow in his granddad’s footsteps. Today, he takes charge of the organization as its commander-in-chief.

Personality

If Hydrar’s around, you better be sure that your shoes are shined and that you mind your Ps and Qs, because he’s a stickler for the rules and then some. An as-of-yet-unrevealed past incident has caused him to become very strict with what’s right and wrong, to ensure that no one goes through the same tragedies he’s witnessed. His direct, to-the-point nature has also led him to often be impatient when people beat around the bush, or when things take too long. His comrades may call him a hard ass, but he’s willing to be if it means living up to the standards his grandfather set.

Relationships

--Jamie

He respects her as a valued, dependable, skilled officer, and is relieved to have found her at the beginning of the second season. But the two don’t always see eye-to-eye when it comes to the rulebook, with Jamie arguing that certain situations call for exceptions. This causes Hydrar to have to go so far as to temporarily relieve her of active duty when he discovers she revealed herself to Earth’s natives.

--Clara and Tyler

He didn’t think much of Jamie’s new Earth friends at first, with his views of Earth as a backwater planet causing him to believe the two were going to be a nuisance more than anything else. But as the two prove themselves to be resourceful and capable, he’s slowly grown to respect them more….but still watches them like a hawk.

--Alvar

He has tremendous respect for his first officer, and is one of the few associates that he has regular, non-work related conversations with, and almost always trusts his judgement and goes to him for advice.

--Bolt

To say he doesn’t like Bolt is an understatement. Considering Bolt’s criminal history, he’s slow to trust the sharpshooter, even when said marksman is trying to honestly help out.
